An integral second fundamental theorem of invariant theory for partition algebras

چکیده

We prove that the kernel of action group algebra Weyl acting on tensor space (via restriction from general linear group) is a cell ideal with respect to alternating Murphy basis. This provides an analogue second fundamental theory invariant for partition over arbitrary commutative ring and proves centraliser algebras are cellular. also similar results half algebras.

On Morita’s Fundamental Theorem for C−algebras

We give a solution, via operator spaces, of an old problem in the Morita equivalence of C*-algebras. Namely, we show that C*-algebras are strongly Morita equivalent in the sense of Rieffel if and only if their categories of left operator modules are isomorphic via completely contractive functors. Moreover, any such functor is completely isometrically isomorphic to the Haagerup tensor product (=...

An Elementary Theorem in Geometric Invariant Theory

The purpose of this note is to prove the key theorem in a construction of the arithmetic scheme of moduli M of curves of any genus. This construction, which relies heavily on Grothendieck's whole theory of schemes, may be briefly outlined as follows: first one defines the family K of tri-canonical models of curves C of genus g, any characteristic, in P?-, as a sub-scheme of one of Grothendieck'...

The Second Fundamental Theorem of Electrical Networks*

where P(x — A) represents a power series in (a„ — A), (bn — A), (a;n+1 — A), quadratic terms and higher. As a numerical example consider the first root of x tan x — 1 = 0. Taking a = 0.8, b = 0.9 equation (4) yields the tabulated value 0.8603. Two or more applications of Newton's method will involve interpolation if one has only a two place table at hand. Estimates of the magnitude of error inv...

The Second Fundamental Theorem of Positive Economics

Welfare Economics is fortunate that there are two Fundamental Theorems of Welfare Economics. Positive Economics on the other hand is seemingly endowed with none. One of the fundamental results of Positive Economics is that a competitive equilibrium exists under fairly general conditions; this then may be called the First Fundamental Theorem of Positive Economics (FFTPE). The existing results on...

The First Fundamental Theorem of Invariant Theory for the Orthosymplectic Super Group

We give a new proof, inspired by an argument of Atiyah, Bott and Patodi, of the first fundamental theorem of invariant theory for the orthosymplectic super group. We treat in a similar way the case of the periplectic super group. Lastly, the same method is used to explain the fact that Sergeev’s super Pfaffian, an invariant for the special orthosymplectic super group, is polynomial.
